UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) has replaced physical visa documents, such as BRP cards and passport visa stickers, with a digital immigration status called an eVisa. Your eVisa confirms your right to study and stay in the UK.
A share code is a unique code that allows the University to check your immigration status and right to study. If you are a new international student, we will ask for this code along with your passport to check you are able to study in the UK and to confirm that your student visa is sponsored by us.
Guidance on creating a share code is available on the UKVI eVisa website and the University's eVisa guidance page.
If you have questions relating to your visa, please complete our self-referral form and a member of the team will be happy to assist you.
