During Online Registration you will have the opportunity to add a preferred name and will not be asked to provide any evidence or proof for is. 

If you have completed your registration, then you would need to either visit the Student Centre or submit an enquiry through the Digital Student Centre, simply giving us the preferred name to add to your record.

Please note, that we are working towards using preferred names wherever possible, however some things at the university, such as your ID card and official documents (e.g., student letters and certificates) will only use your "legal name".
