UKVI phased out BRPs from January 2025, meaning no more will be issued. If you were issued with a BRP before this, your end date on your card will be 31 December 2024, even though this is likely to be different to your actual visa end date.

To prove your actual visa end date, you will need to create a UKVI account where you can access your digital immigration status, or eVisa. Click here for more information and instructions on how to create an online account to access your eVisa.

If needing to prove your actual immigration status, you can also get a share code from the View and Prove service on the gov.uk website. This can then be used to obtain a copy of your eVisa.

Our eVisa webpage includes lots of useful information on this. Or if you are struggling to create an account or access your eVisa, you can contact the International Student Advice Service for further support.
