There can be a few reasons why you may have lost access to the library.
Student ID cards can become inactive if they are not used for a while: for example, over a long break or placement period. If you think this might be the reason your card will not work at the library, please visit one of our Student Centres so we can reactivate your card for you.
You may also be temporarily stopped from accessing the library if you have overdue tuition fees. Once your fees have been cleared, you should be able to access the library again.
Lastly, if you have recently completed your course, you may find you have lost access to the library and to other IT services. This is part of the normal process of closing your student account. For more information, check our Leaving the University webpage.
If you have any further queries, please bring your student ID card to any of our Student Centres.
