The Progression and Award Board has responsibility for approving module marks, making decisions about progression, and for deciding the award you will receive and, where relevant, its classification. Your results letter is published on the Student Portal and the outcome of this meeting is communicated to you. Students who have not achieved the course requirements for progression or award eligibility may be reassessed in order to reach the required standard.

You won't normally have to pay repeat tuition fees for your first resit or for an approved extenuating circumstance claim however, if you have failed some of your modules you may be required to repeat these for which there will be additional tuition fees.

The University's Academic Appeals Procedure, Guidance Notes and Appeals Form are available online at docs.gre.ac.uk/rep/sas/academic-appeals. If, after reading the procedure, you believe that you have grounds for appeal, you have 14 calendar days from the date of your results, excluding university closures to complete and submit an academic appeal.

If you are unsure, you can submit a self referral at https://studentcentre.gre.ac.uk/support/create-sfselfreferral/ where we will review your performance against the tuition fees charges.
