The Home Office and the police will never ask you to transfer money to resolve an issue with your BRP or eVisa. If someone contacts you claiming otherwise, it is likely to be a scam. If this happens, report it to Action Fraud online or by calling 0300 123 2040, and visit the Home Office website for advice on recognising and avoiding immigration-related fraud.
