If your application with SFE is pending and your funding has not been approved, please consider the following:
Have you changed courses or university place since applying? You will need to update your loan application on the Student Finance website.
Have you signed and returned your declaration?
Has your national insurance number been validated?
Have you checked your documents to ensure you full name matches between Student Finance England and the University, if your name does not match your funding can be delayed.

If your application has been approved by SFE, to receive your funding you are required to complete your registration with the university.
The confirmation of your student status and your attendance to Student Finance England (SFE) by the university is automated . You can expect to receive your first payment from SFE once you have fully registered and the term has commenced.
