Project supervisors are here to help guide your research project and develop the necessary skills to deliver a successful thesis.
Your research project benefits from having the guidance and support of your supervisory team. To ensure effective progress, it is recommended that a postgraduate research student and the whole supervisory team meet at least twice per year.
It is important to have at least one official contact per month with your first supervisor, and preferably meet once every two weeks, in accordance with the Student Engagement Policy and Procedure.
Details about the meeting should be recorded on PULSE to help us monitor your engagement. Please note, it is the student’s responsibility to keep in regular contact with their supervisors and communicate about their development and if any training is needed. For further information, please see Section F of the Postgraduate Research Student's and Supervisor's Handbook.
