If you are unable to attend your timetabled sessions for a period of 3 calendar days or less because of an illness, or an appointment for example, you should send an email to student-retention@gre.ac.uk which includes your student ID number and Faculty in the subject line as well as details of the absence. You must start attending immediately after or submit an authorised absence form if your absence will be longer than 3 days.
If you need to request an absence of longer than 3 calendar days, you will need to complete an Authorised Absence Form, which must be supported by appropriate evidence for your absence and will be considered by the Student Retention Team.
