Withdrawing from your programme could be a difficult decision to make and you should talk this through with your supervisory team, the Faculty research office, the Training & Research Programmes Officer at RETI, or you might find it useful to talk to someone in the Wellbeing Hub.
If you decide to withdraw from your programme, you will need to submit an RDA5: Changes to Registration Requesting Withdrawal Form to Faculty Research & Degrees Committee (FRDC). When submitting your request, please provide your supporting statement as this will help us understand your circumstances. If in the future you wish to re-join, you can apply within two years of the formal date of withdrawal. You can find information on how to withdraw in the following documents:
- Academic Regulations for Postgraduate Research Awards, see Section D: Registration, contractual obligations and engagement.
- Postgraduate Research Student's and Supervisor's Handbook, see Section K: Changes to Registration.
