You will first need to consider if you can apply for an extra year of tuition fee support: Going back to uni or repeating a year - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).
If you are not eligible for an extra year of funding (Tuition fee Loan), we will allow you to spread the cost of your tuition fees using an instalment plan. An instalment plan gives you the opportunity to spread the cost of your tuition fees in instalments instead of paying your fees in full by the payment deadline.
You will first need to pay a minimum amount of 33% during your registration. You will then have to request an instalment plan by completing a self-referral form, and attach a copy of your Student Finance Entitlement letter. The letter will tell you when your maintenance loan instalments will be paid, usually September, January, and April and the remaining tuition fee instalments will therefore align with your maintenance loan payments.
Tuition Fee Payment schedule:
33% of your tuition fee is required for registration
33% of your tuition fees is due in January
34% of your tuition fees is due in April
